Part of the reason I started this blog was because I was improving my lifestyle. I was doing a diet and nutrition course, eating healthily, exercising every day and I wanted to hold myself accountable and use my own experience to help others. For the last few months however I have fallen off the wagon. I've put back on any weight I lost and have become unhappy with the way I feel.
This morning I woke up and decided to get back on that wagon! I had a yummy healthy breakfast (rice cakes with peanut butter and an apple), put on my gym clothes, got on that treadmill and stuck on my favourite workout songs.
Music is so important when I'm working out. It may sound odd but I feel that I struggle less when I have my favourite workout tunes playing. I forget (to some extent) how difficult the workout is and I just keep going. It's so much more enjoyable and time flies by when you're having fun with it.
